I was born on December the first, 1976 in Częstochowa, Poland.
When I was 13 years old, I started my programming adventure on the Atari 8‑bit
platform. When I was 16, I created my first commercial computer
game called "Kampania Wrzesniowa" and a year later, another one - "Top
Secret".
During my secondary school education, I was continuously occupied with Atari
8-bit programming. I participated in demos and computer magazine
creation process. There exist two additional Atari 8-bit games in my portfolio:
"Saper Konstruktor" and "Robin - Wojownik czasu"
from this period of time.
When I was 19, I started education at the University of Silesia in Katowice, in
the Mathematics department.
I graduated in 2001 and received Master of Science diploma in Mathematics with
Informatics specialization, a year later.
While studying at the university, I continued acquiring experience in
programming, but this time on the PC platform.
I co-authored a demonstration called "Klokh". In 2000 - while still being a
student - I began working on a real-time strategy game
"Starmageddon" for the "We Open Eyes" company. The game was completed and
published in 2002. When working on this project, I was responsible for designing
algorithms and code implementations in the following areas: 3D-space collision
detection, physical modeling of space ship movement in 3D, original scripting
language interpreter, multi-player network programming, GUI.
In 2002, after finishing the Starmageddon project, I passed Master's degree exam
with the thesis: "Utilization of artificial neural
networks in static image compression".
Between years 2002 and 2009, I worked for YesSoftware as the main developer of
the DemoCharge,
a web-content generation application dedicated for creating visual documentation.
At this time,
I also created a few other applications which are part of the "Extensions for
Windows" package published by Extensoft.
Since June 2009 I have been working for the Sabre Holdings company.
